Introduction

The construction industry has been facing significant challenges in recent years, including the need for sustainable and environmentally friendly materials. In addition, there are also other compositions namely (25: 25: 0), (25: 23: 2), (25: 21: 4), (25: 19: 6), and (25: 17: 8) Styrofoam solution 10% and 40% epoxy resin as a matrix. The hotpress method was used to manufacture the polymer concrete at 90 ºC for 20 minutes.

Testing Parameters

The researchers conducted a series of tests that include physical tests (density, porosity, and water absorption), mechanical tests (violence, flexural strength, and compressive strength), as well as microstructural analysis and elemental content using SEM-EDX techniques.
