This research aims to investigate the effect of the level of water and mulch on the growth and production of soybean plants in the experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture of the Medan UISU.

Located in the village of Gedung Johor, Medan Johor District, Medan Municipality, North Sumatra Province, with a height of about 30 meters above sea level, this research location provides a unique opportunity to study the effect of water and mulch on soybean growth and production. The research was conducted to determine the optimal level of water and mulch that can increase soybean growth and production.
