Interestingly, some prepositions such as "Across," "Against," "Along," "Around," "By," "before," "Below," "Beside," "Beyond," "Between," "But," "Inside," "Near," "Over," "Past," "Round," "Through," "Under," "Within," and "Without" were not found in this analysis.

Analysis of the Speech Section

The analysis of the Speech section of Newsweek magazine also revealed some significant findings. As many as 30 verbs or 50.85% were recorded, indicating the dominance of the use of verbs in idioms in Newsweek. In addition, there were 12 adverbs or 20.34%, 11 nouns or 18.64%, and 6 adjectives or 10.17%.
